Isaac created this self caricature for Ringling College of Art and Design.

Software Used: Zbrush, Maya, The Setup Machine (Rigging), Photoshop, Renderman, Nuke

The Muppet Man was modeled in Maya, and rendered with Renderman plugin for Maya. The model head was first sculpted in clay, then in zbrush and maya. The animation rig features detachable eyes and noes.

There is no “fur” on this model. Instead, Isaac used a very fine displacement noise map with a strong and deep sub surface scattering shader to create a “fuzzy” effect. This fur effect greatly reduced render times for the short assignment deadline.
